The semifinal stage of the 2016 National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ) will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016. The nine schools which have made it to this stage will battle with one another to book one of the three slots in the final stage.
What started as a tough contest for Mfantsipim School in the quarter finals of the ongoing National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ) ended a victory for them. The two time-winners of the NSMQ, Mfantsipim School, were up against Prempeh College, three-time winners and reigning champions of the NSMQ and Wesley Girls’ High School.
Of the 134 senior high schools from all regions of Ghana who for close to three weeks have been competing, 27 have made it to the quarter finals. Three schools have qualified to the quarter finals of the ongoing National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ). All the three schools, Presby SHTS, Aburi, Pope John SHS and Ghana National College, were among the 109 unseeded schools for the 2016 NSMQ.
